TF 2432 MI Marconi Instruments Used

The TF 2431 was one of a series of frequency counters and counter timers that was launched with a publicity campaign that included the tag line “counter blast!”.

It superseded earlier MI offerings, such as the TF2401 series and the TF2410. It was one of the last MI products with the grey panel and case. A slightly later variant, the 2437, was presented in the then popular dark brown.

It is of a simple and straightforward design that works well. The frequency coverage is 10 Hz to 200 MHz with 0.1 Hz resolution.
